Default Things to do?

I have 3 20th level characters (4th one is level 16). I've completed the PvE storyline twice.

I don't play PvP. I can't -- I'm on dialup. The lag is bad enough in PvE teams, there's no way in hell I'll be able to compete against other human beings.

I just found the Tombs. They're interesting, but a bit ridiculous. I finally found a good team (using the broken strategy of barrage+orders+pets) and was able to clear it, and got an underwhelming Earth staff as a reward. I might try to finish it with my other characters, although since they're not rangers they can't get into a B/P team.

What else is there to do in GuildWars?

I've been in the Temple of Ages, but never in the realms that you need favor to enter. Are those PvE or PvP? Are they harder or easier than the Tombs? Are they fun?

Is there any other high-level PvE content in this game, or is it all PvP?

FoW and UW (the favor-required) areas are high-level PVE areas. Good times. On par with Tombs as far as difficulty goes, IMO.

By "completed the PVE storyline", are you including all the final (defend) quests?

And as far as Tombs goes, it may take a bit more effort to find a non-B/P group, but you might find the experience inside Tombs more engaging. Definitely more difficult.

Me, I'm somewhere above 1300 hours with 710 faction (from snowball fights and the fight to get into post) and 0 fame..so finding fun in the game without PVP id definitely possible.

I might recommend farming. Not in the sense of mindless hours striving to get uber items and gold. But rather, for the challenge. I like to see if I can arrange the skills well enough on any character to allow them to solo ettins, trolls, griffons (), etc. Just a personal challenge I like to think the dev's put in there.

Other than that, you're on the right track with ruins of tombs. Underworld and Fissure of Woe will be fairly similar. They are sort of end-game PvE content that is supposed to test the top players. The problem and frustration you may run into, though, is that they require knowledge, teamwork, and communication. In pick up groups, they can often collapse into frustration and failure. Also, like ruins of tombs, these areas have cheap little gimmicks like Barrage/Pet. Typically, 55/SS duos, trapper teams, etc. predominate, but you should also still be able to find balanced groups forming. Finally, the last thing is that you can do Sorrow's Furnace in the northern part of the Southern Shiverpeaks, or you can attempt the "Defend X" quests given by the vision of Glint statue in Droknar's forge. That's about all I can think of for now

<---- ign: if you ever want to try out any of these areas, feel free to send me a Pm.

Thanks. I hadn't heard about Sorrow's Furnace or the Defend quests. That's the kind of thing I was looking for.

As I mentioned, the Defend quests start at Droknar's Forge, from the Statue of Glint. They send you all over Tyria. Sorrow's furnace can be found in the Southern Shiverpeaks. It is sort of in the middle of a triangle formed by the southern part of Lornar's Pass (and Drednaughts Drift), Granite Citadel, and Camp Rankor. More specifically, you will want to enter the area called Grenth's Footprint, and look for the town of Deldrimore Warcamp. From there, people will be making trips around Grenth's Footprint, and into Sorrow's Furnace. There are a number of rewarding quests to do, and exploring is always fun, too. Enjoy!
